Internal Candidates
Applying for a Job at CLS

There are two methods for applying for job competitions within CLS.  The first method is by completing the Internal Application form and the second is a resume.

Internal Application Form

  • The Internal Application form only asks for basic employment information  on the candidate.
  • The Internal Application form should only be used if the applicant’s work experience etc. is well known to the decision maker.
  • While Internal Application forms are available, a resume is preferred.

Resume

  • Must include experience, performance and qualifications relevant to Position.
  • A resume, clearly indicating the competition number, must be submitted for each posting.
  • Applications/Resumes must be submitted by deadline date.
  • No late applications will be considered.
  • It is the responsibility of the employee to verify applications have been received.

Once the selection process has been completed and a successful applicant has been selected, the “competition file ” is returned to Human Resources and is kept intact.

Resumes are not retained by Human Resources in the employee’s personal file.
