ASAP

This priority is not available for community patient testing.

Analysis will be routinely performed.

Tests will be ordered as call/fax routine and will be communicated to the referring physician.

Surgical Pathology Processing to be determined in conjunction with clinician – may require immediate tissue processing or 24 hour processing followed by telephoned results to the clinician.

2 These specimens can be recollected if necessary.
3 Pertains to all hospital specimens and to critical samples from the community which cannot be easily recollected either because the patient cannot be recalled or has already been empirically treated.
