CLS provides Cancer Cytogenetics services. Bone marrow aspirate specimens for the diagnosis and follow up of leukemia and other hematologic neoplasia are accepted in this laboratory. In some cases when a bone marrow aspirate cannot be obtained, blood or a bone marrow biopsy may be suitable. Lymph nodes, fluids and solid tumours are also analyzed, in consultation with the pathologist.
