Specimen Handling and Transport

Submit specimen in a Cytolyt container. The complete brush must be immersed in the Cytolyt solution and gently shaken. Label the container according to CLS requirements. Send the specimen to the Cytopathology laboratory. Containers must be securely tightened to eliminate any leakage.
