NOTE: Bone Marrow is the preferred specimen type.
Blood: 2 x 4 mL lavender top EDTA tubes.
Blood specimens must be collected before 13:30 Monday to Thursday (holidays excluded).

Send specimens UNSPUN at room temperature to DSC Molecular Hematology within 4 hours of collection.
DSC Accession: after 16:30, store at 4°C. |

Test can only be ordered by a Hematologist.
Specimens must be accompanied by a copy of the original requisition. |
