Use pre-packaged sterile collection tubes OR 1 x 5 mL red top tube, NOT SST
0.2 mL CSFPediatric: 0.1 mL CSF may be sufficient to perform one of Albumin, Glucose or Total Protein.
If Culture & Sensitivity collected on same tube send specimen to Microbiology first. DO NOT freeze.
