2 x 5 mL lavender top EDTA tubes Minimum 3.0 mL plasma
Collect in pre-chilled tube.
Collections performed at acute care (RRL) sites, and all PSCs EXCEPT Airdrie, Cochrane, McKnight and Southcentre.
Separate at 4ºC + 2ºC and freeze two aliquots of plasma immediately (use pre-chilled tubes for aliquotting), then transport to DSC.
Record collection time on requisition.
This test cannot be collected by Mobile Collection Services.
