This test is user-pay.

 
Specimen Handling The patient must pay $15.00 at time of specimen collection. HsCRP can only be collected at a PSC and not at an RRL as they are user-pay, unless the patient is part of a research study or a clinical trial. 
Additional Information

The average of two assays two weeks apart provides a more stable estimate of the level of this marker.  Levels of CRP >10 mg/L likely indicate active inflammation or the presence of chronic inflammatory condition, which can invalidate the prediction of coronary risk.  In most cases, a period of two weeks is adequate for CRP concentrations to return to basal values.
