If <5 mL is received selective testing will be done after consultation with the nursing unit.
STAT priority requests for evenings and weekends have restricted clinical indications and require review and approval by CLS Medical & Scientific Staff. Contact LIC at 403-770-3600 for Pathologist On Call information.

Urine is the required specimen for comprehensive drug screens as it is most sensitive and optimized for our methodology.
FDSU TAT: up to 5 days
Refer to Clinical Toxicology testing section C for a complete list of drugs which can be identified.
FDSU is intended for routine priority testing and requires a completed Medical Drug History Form #DS3601 .
If the physician wishes to add FDSU to a previously collected urine, the physician is required to fax the CLS Medical Drug History Form #DS3601 to CLS Analytical Toxicology at 403-770-3748 AFTER telephoning LIC to add the test.
