DAU screen provides qualitative results for barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, cannabinoids, opiates and amphetamines.
Refer to FDSU for comprehensive drug screen.
Upgrade to STAT not possible.  Please recollect.

(UDS) STAT DAU:
 Testing Location - Chemistry - ACH, FMC, PLC, RGH, SMCHC and DSC
1 hour TAT from receipt in lab
Is intended for ICU and ER
Performed by POC immunoassay
Must be ordered STAT in SCM.

(UDSR) ASAP or ROUTINE DAU:
 Testing Location - Chemistry DSC

Up to 15 hour TAT from receipt in lab
Performed by Immunoassay
Must be ordered Routine or ASAP in SCM.

Drugs of abuse screen for urine (only) is sufficiently sensitive to detect classes of drugs or drug metabolites in symptomatic patients.

Positive drug screening results are presumptive (unconfirmed) and are to be used for medical purposes only.  If GS/MS confirmation of a presumptive positive is clinically indicated, phone 770-3600 within 2 weeks of the sample collection date.
