Fluid Cell Count - Dialysate

Source Fluid (Peritoneal, Renal) 
Mnemonic FLOTHERCC

If differential is ordered, enter both the cell count mnemonic FLOTHERCC and the differential mnemonic FLOTHERC 

ACH only: For peritoneal dialysate, refer to Fluid Cell Count- Peritoneal 
Specimen Requirements 1 x 5 mL lavender top EDTA tube

Place 3-5 mL fluid immediately into EDTA tube, mix well by inverting tube 6-8 times.

DO NOT send large volumes of fluid.
Must not be clotted.
