Mnemonic	FLPTCC If differential is ordered, enter both the cell count mnemonic FLPTCC and the differential mnemonic FLPTC. ACH only: The mnemonic FLPTCC is used for both peritoneal fluid and peritoneal dialysate. The type of fluid must be stated as a chartable comment.
Specimen Requirements	1 x 5 mL lavender top EDTA tube or 1 x 5 mL green top sodium heparin tube Place 3-5 mL fluid immediately into EDTA or heparin tube following collection. Mix well.
