Specimen Requirements	Adults: 2 x 4 mL lavender top EDTA tubes Pediatric: 1 x 3 mL lavender top EDTA tube (1 mL sufficient) Whole blood DO NOT collect specimens after 1200 on Fridays, on weekends, or statutory holidays.
Specimen Handling	CBC MUST be performed, submit one EDTA tube to Hematology. DO NOT centrifuge or freeze specimen.
Additional Information	Patient history required with request.
