Bacterial culture only available for cervical <13 years of age, or cervical with diagnosis.
Diagnosis includes:
- toxic shock syndrome (TSS) including R/O Group A streptococcus (GAS) and/or Staphylococcus aureus,
- sexual assault.
- CSART or CAS ACH Gyne Clinics,
- vaginal vault (hysterectomy),
- vaginal wash (<13 years of age), or
- history of treatment failure.
Turnaround time for negative culture: 3 days. |
