Bacterial Culture, aerobic culture only - Sputum, Cystic Fibrosis

Submit sputum specimen in sterile container.

Do not hold cystic fibrosis sputum specimens in the Cystic Fibrosis clinic after collection.

RRL Staff: Transport cystic fibrosis specimens to CLS Microbiology as a PRIORITY specimen - must be received at the DSC within 2 hours of receipt in the RRL.
