Transport as a PRIORITY specimen: must be received at the DSC within 2 hours of receipt in the RRL.

Prioritize multiple test requests by indicating #1, #2, etc. on the requisition.
Negative culture result turnaround time: 10 days.
For Legionella Culture requests received on a Provincial Laboratory requisition, testing will be performed by Provincial Laboratory. Data enter as: PLNON (LEGIONC for shared samples only).
