Adult:1 x 10 mL yellow top ACD “A” tube AND 1 x 5 mL red top tube, NOT SST Pediatric:1 x short-draw (1.8 mL draw) blue top sodium citrate tube AND 1 x red top, NOT SST (collect 1 mL)
Whole blood/serum
Collect Monday - Thursday ONLY Fridays: urgent requests must be pre-booked. Phone Flow Cytometry at 944-4765.
Specimen Handling
Centrifuge ONLY the red top tube and separate serum into aliquot tube. Deliver serum sample and whole blood yellow top tube immediately to FMC Flow Cytometry.

Test includes Neutrophil Associated Immunoglobulin.
