Specimen Handling
PSC/RRL: Send specimens UNSPUN at room temperature to DSC Molecular Hematology within 4 hours of collection.
Extra-regional: Centrifuge blue top tubes at 3500 rpm for 20 minutes, aliquot plasma to 4 plastic tubes. Freeze and transport frozen to DSC Molecular Hematology.

Specimens must be accompanied by a copy of the original requisition complete with patient history.
