Specimens Referred Out from CLS

Specimen collection and handling information, and testing labs for Referral tests, are available on the individual test pages in the Alphabetical Test Directory.

If a test cannot be located in the Alphabetical Test Directory, please contact CLS Referrals at 403-770-3285 for collection and handling requirements.

Please note: certain tests require review and approval by CLS Medical and Scientific staff as indicated on individual test pages.  Please contact CLS Referrals at 403-770-3285 for further information on the approval process.
 

Specimens Referred In to CLS

All specimens must be accompanied by a complete and legible Calgary Laboratory Services requisition. For more information on completing the requisition, see Requisition Completion Aides.

Test results will be sent to the ordering physician/location indicated on the requisition. For information about test results, please contact the CLS Laboratory Information Center at 403-770-3600.
