PSC & RRL:
Centrifuge and transport to DSC.

Extra-regional:
Centrifuge and transport to DSC in original collection container. If specimen will not arrive within 5 days of collection, pour off and freeze.

Additional Information After centrifugation, specimen is stable for 3 days at room temperature and for 5 days at 2-8ºC.
