Specimen Handling

Specimens submitted to CLS from within Alberta: Mix well. DO NOT centrifuge or freeze. Deliver immediately to Flow Cytometry.

Specimens submitted to CLS from outside Alberta: DO NOT centrifuge or freeze samples. Ship at 4oC, using an overnight courier. Shipping a normal peripheral blood with the patient sample as a control is recommended. Please follow Flow Cytometry Shipping and Handling instructions when sending to CLS.
