2 mL serum

CLS staff: collect specimen and transport to DSC Accession, who will forward specimen to Referrals.

Specimen Handling PSC: 
Centrifuge and pour off.

RRL & extra-regional: 
Centrifuge, pour off and freeze serum prior to transport to DSC.

DSC:
Freeze specimens upon receipt in lab; ensure frozen specimens do not thaw

Results of Pseudocholinesterase and Dibucaine number must support request.
