Specimen Requirements

1 x 3.5 mL gold top SST tube

0.5 mL serum for each determination.

Specimen Handling If patient is known to be HBsAg positive all specimens collected on the patient MUST be transported under TDG regulations.
Additional Information If physician requests Hepatitis Immune Status and does not indicate Hep A or B, order both AHBS and AHAVT.
