| Additional Information | Teriflunomide, the active metabolite of Leflunomide, is measured in this test. This method has a detection limit of 0.5 μg/mL and is NOT indicated for verification of levels in women of childbearing potential who discontinue leflunomide and women receiving treatment who wish to become pregnant. The recommended procedure is that these patients undergo the cholestyramine drug elimination procedure which includes verification that plasma levels of teriflunomide are less than 0.02 ng/mL by two separate tests at least 14 days apart. | |
