PSC & RRL:
Centrifuge, pour off serum into two aliquot tubes, and transport on ice to DSC.

Important: If collected after last courier run, store serum frozen on site. Send to DSC on first morning run.


Extra-regional:
Centrifuge, pour off serum into two aliquot tubes, and freeze serum prior to transportation to DSC.


All locations:
Copy of requisition MUST accompany the specimen(s) to allow for DSC Accession re-data entry into PathNet Classic LIS.

Additional Information Note: PathNet labels will indicate "LUTSCR" and "LUBSCR".
