1 x 8.5 mL yellow top ACD "A" tube

Pediatric:
1 x 1.8 mL short-draw blue top sodium citrate tube


EDTA and heparin whole blood also accepted.
Specimen Handling DO NOT centrifuge or freeze.  Deliver immediately directly to Flow Cytometry at FMC.
Additional Information Patient History required.

Flow Cytometry (403-944-4771) must be notified of all test requests.

STAT requests on weekends or STAT holidays must be approved by Flow Cytometry Pathologist-on-call.

DO NOT collect peripheral blood after 12:00 noon on Fridays or any time on weekends.
