1 x 3 mL or 4.5 mL light green (mint) top PST tube.  Gold top SST tube also acceptable.

1.0 mL plasma or serum.  Preferred specimen: plasma or serum submitted in the primary tube.  Test will be performed if aliquot tube submitted.

Minimum Whole Blood Volumes for Micro-Collection using Microtainers

Recommend waiting two weeks after DRE to collect blood for PSA.
