Provision of Blood Components & Products

CLS Transfusion Medicine provides all blood components and products distributed by Canadian Blood Services (CBS). Products prepared from whole blood or apheresis donation are leuko-depleted at the source.

All products are subject to CBS availability.

Transfusion Medicine will notify the patient care unit of any delay in the availability of requested blood/blood product.
