1 x 3.5 mL gold top SST tube
1 mL serum

AND 13 mL aliquot of random urine.

Blood and urine must be collected at the same time.

Specimen Handling PSC & RRL: 
Centrifuge and pour off SST tube. Transport serum and urine on ice to DSC.

Extra-regional:
Centrifuge and pour off SST tube. Freeze serum and urine prior to transport to DSC.

DSC:
Freeze specimens upon receipt in lab; ensure frozen specimens do not thaw.
