Saliva Collection Information:

  • Children 3 years and over: Have child chew piece of parafilm until saliva present in mouth and withdraw using gentle suction with syringe attached to pipetting tubing.
  • Children under 3 years: Insert tubing into child's mouth and withdraw small amounts of saliva as child chews on tubing.
